The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information, after a direct enquiry from you or your representative and will only communicate with you in relation to the ceremony we are working on. This may include communication prior to, during and after the ceremony date.

· Contact name

· Telephone number/email address

· Postal address

· Family names of those involved in your ceremony

· Telephone number/email address of those involved in your ceremony

· Personal memories and stories provided by you, other family members and friends

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reasons:

· To discuss the content of your ceremony and carry out the agreed service of creating and conducting the ceremony.

· If you agree, I may also communicate with you for up to a year after the ceremony.

· I will not send you promotional or marketing emails

· Your information will not be shared with any agencies or organisations who are not directly involved in your ceremony.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

· From Funeral directors or wedding planners who book our services on your behalf and require this information to carry out their duties.

We may share this information with

· Organisers or venue management involved in facilitating your ceremony.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting spiralceremonies@outlook.com

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

(c) We need it to perform a public task.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on our database and written forms.

We keep minimal details of names, contact information and fees for 7 years for tax purposes. We will then dispose your information by fully deleting from our database and shredding any relevant paperwork.
